Description |
This is a cardboard box that has been coated in red Christmas wrapping paper. The paper is printed in black, white, pink, and gold on a red background and features an angel playing a lute, a burning candle in a holder, a waving Santa Claus, and two bells tied together with a ribbon. |

This artifact was donated with a collection consisting of correspondence and memorabilia of Joan Stoughton Ridlehoover Feland, her family, and friends. Joan Stoughton Ridlehoover (1926-2007) was the daughter of Samuel Riddlehover and Anne Beauchamp. Joan married John Jackson Feland on November 22, 1947. The archival components of this collection include correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks and sketch books relating to Joan and her husband, John J. Feland. Also included are copies of correspondence from Earl Gregg Swem (Joan's brother) and his wife. This object was donated by Earl Swem. |
