Newbro’s Herpicide was trademarked in 1899 by Dupont Newbro, owner of Newbro Drug Company, a wholesale drug business in Butte, Montana. Mr. Newbro theorized that a bacterium or parasite was the cause of dandruff and baldness and his company thrived selling his remedy. |
