Description |
This flag is made of two pieces of dark blue wool sewn back to back. The design is the same on the front and the back. The flag has gold fringe on three sides. The flag has the American Legion logo silk screened at the center in what was probably originally gold ink. Appliqued above the logo in gold cotton lettering is "JEFFERSON POST No 15 / Louisville, Kentucky." Appliqued below the logo in larger gold cotton letters is "AMERICAN LEGION." There are two leather tabs inside the hoist for hanging the flag. |
