Description |
An olive green canvas duffle bag with four metal grommets and a hook at the top for closure. It has a khaki canvas handle and strap with a hook for closure. There is a patch pocket with a flap near the handle. The pocket has a metal snap closure. There is an inscription stenciled onto the surface of canvas, "Richard J Alfaro 104 68 9327 (?)." |

Found in a box of materials from the KMHM. The pieces in this box were seperated from any identifying number and information. Richard J. Alfaro (b.2/12/1951) served in the US Army from November 1969 to May of 1970. In 1970, he was transferred to the Kentucky National Guard. Alfaro had training as a medical corpsman. It it possible that Richard Alfaro is related to Colonel Al Alfaro of the Kentucky National Guard. |
