Description |
This Teddy Roosevelt political button is a celluloid-process button with tinplate backing covered by a paper label and a straight pin clasp. The front of the button features a white or sepia background and a black and white portrait of Theodore Roosevelt facing the viewer's left. Printed in black on the paper label backing of the button is the following: "Made by / F.F. PULVER CO., / BUTTONS, BADGES / ROCHESTER, N. Y. / Get a collection of Buttons. / Send for Catalogue. / Patented / [illegible] 17, 1903, Apr. 19, 1904". There is an illegible union label below this inscription also printed in black. |
