Description |
This bumper sticker is vinyl printed with red, white and blue. It is a long rectangle with a white background. There are blue stars at the top right. The name "Forgy" is printed with "For" in red and "gy" in blue. Below this "Governor" is in red lettering. At the bottom is "Paid for by Kentuckians for Larry Forgy Committee: David A. York, CAP, Treasurer." The bumper sticker has an adhesive back with paper cover. |

Lawrence E. Forgy (1939- ) is a Republican from Lexington, Kentucky. Forgy ran for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 1991 but lost in the primary to then U.S. Representative Larry J. Hopkins, also of Lexington. Forgy again ran for governor in 1995, but he was defeated in the general election by Democrat Paul E. Patton. |
