Notes |
This stand mixer and mixing bowls was donated to the University of Kentucky by Elizabeth Ann Calvert of Berry in Pendleton County. By 1930, manufacturers were offering mixers with attachments that included lemon squeezers, mincers, flour sifters, cheese graters, and knife sharpeners. Housewives used them conventionally to mix batters, whip cream, fluff egg whites, beat candies, whip potatoes, and more. |
