Description |
This is a reunion badge from the 22nd United Confederate Veteran's reunion in Macon, Georgia. The badge is made of brass and has two parts. The top part is the pin which has a shield shaped face with two enameled confederate flags flanking the shield. The pin has the image of the women's monument and Macon City Hall. The inscription on the pin reads: "22nd UCV REUNION/ MAY 7-9, 1912/ MACON/ GA." The bottom part is a circular medallion featuring a relief image of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on horseback. Beneath the figures is an inscription that reads: "LAST MEETING OF LEE AND JACKSON." |
