Description |
This political card is printed on white heavy stock. Inside a line border, there is an image of John T. Boske on the left. On the right near the top is printed in black ink :STAMP YOUR APPROVAL." To the right of this is the image of a hand pointing to the right toward an "X" below. To the right of the hand, is "No. 4." In the center of the card is a wide and short box next to a square. In the box is "JOHN T. BOSKE." In the box is the "X" mentioned above. Below the "X" is printed "on the ballot." Below Boske's name is printed "FOR / SHERIFF / 'I Stand on My Record'." Near the bottom on the left is a small logo next to the number "73." |

Presumably, Boske ran for sheriff around the same time as Fred W. Rolfe, grandfather to the wife of the donor (Mary Ann Bogart). Fred W. Rolfe, was running for public offices in Covington, Ky. |
