Description |
This brown leather belt has a rectangular Confederate plate-style buckle made of cast brass. The buckle has a slight curve, raised border, and raised letters that read "C.S.A." On the reverse of the belt, there are two hooks fitting into one end of the belt a third hook on the opposite side of the belt that is used to secure the buckle through the holes on the tongue of the belt. There appears to be five original holes for the buckle and three later additions. There are incised line traces on the top and bottom of the belt. |
