Description |
This button is part of a poster and button set from the Clinton-Gore presidential campaign of 1992. The button is a celluloid process button with a blue background. The button has a black and white portraits of Bill Clinton and Al Gore inside a red star. The inscription on the bitton is in white and red and reads "LABOR SUPPORTS/ CLINTON/ GORE/ in '92." Originally the button was taped to the top right corner of the poster (1996.54.3a). On the front of the button, on the right side, is a union trademark logo. This one is different from the poster. It is printed in white ink, in an oval shape, and reads "Allied Printing / Trades Council / Union Label / Chicago." |
