There is a printed signature on his left shoulder. Printed below the image is "Respectfully yours / Happy Cal Wagner." At the bottom is a makers mark and "WAGNER'S MINSTRELS / MASONIC TEMPLE, JANUARY 4 &5." |

The Masonic Temple mentioned on this poster was located in Louisville, Ky. This poster was one of many used as packing material in miscellaneous containers. They were later found in the attic of the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Ky. They were transferred to the Kentucky Historical Society in 1991. |
