Description |
This is a set of three white heavy cotton crocheted doilies of different sizes. The centers are one piece that is curled all the way around and sewn together. The outside edge is all connected and attached to the middle section by two threads every section. |

According to the donor, these three mats were made by Miss Susan Barry Abert of Newport, Kentucky. Susan Barry Abert (1852-1928) was the daughter of Col. James William Abert and Lucy C. Taylor Abert of Campbell County, Kentucky. |
